1. Who we are
Pyltex. Contact: hello@pyltex.com.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in section 3. For questions or to exercise your rights, write to hello@pyltex.com.
2. Scope
This policy covers pyltex.com, the customer portal (app.pyltex.com), our emails and the Pyltex services. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles card details under its own privacy policy.
3. Information we collect
- Contact information: name, email, phone and company, when you write to us.
- Account information: name, work email, role and company of portal users.
- Billing information: the company billed, plan and payment history. Card details are collected by Stripe; we only see the card brand and its last four digits.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, and logs needed to keep the services secure and working.
- Communications: emails and messages you exchange with us.
4. How we use it, and why we may
- To provide the services, manage accounts, bill and give support (to perform our contract with the customer).
- To answer enquiries and send service notices (our legitimate interest, or steps before a contract).
- To keep the services secure and prevent fraud and abuse (our legitimate interest).
- To keep accounting and tax records (a legal obligation).
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Customer Data: calls, messages and recordings
When our customers use Pyltex, the content of their calls, recordings, transcripts, messages and contacts belongs to them. For that data the customer is the controller and Pyltex acts as its processor: we process it only to provide the services and on the customer’s instructions. If you are a caller or a contact of one of our customers and want to exercise your rights over that data, please contact that business; we will help it respond.
6. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the services, under contracts that protect it:
- telecommunications carriers, to connect calls and messages;
- cloud hosting and database providers;
- providers of AI transcription and analysis, for the AI features the customer uses;
- our authentication and email delivery providers;
- Stripe, for payments;
- our accountants and advisers, and public authorities when the law requires it.
A current list of these providers is available on request.
7. Text messages
Mobile numbers and SMS consent collected for text messaging are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time.
8. International transfers
Some of our providers process data in the United States or other countries outside the European Economic Area. When they do, we rely on safeguards recognized by EU law, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. How long we keep it
We keep account and contact data while the relationship is active, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal claims. Invoices and accounting records are kept for the periods the law requires. Customer Data is kept as the customer decides, and deleted after the services end as set out in our Terms.
10. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to hello@pyltex.com; we answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to a data protection authority. Residents of US states with privacy laws, such as California, have similar rights and can use the same address; we do not sell or share personal data for targeted advertising.
11. Security
We use reasonable safeguards, such as encryption in transit, access controls and sign-in links instead of passwords. No method is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the authorities of a breach when the law requires it.
12. Minors
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at anyone under 18.
13. Cookies
We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The portal only stores your sign-in session in your browser, and Stripe’s checkout page uses its own cookies to process payments securely.
14. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post changes on this page and, if they are significant, tell customers by email.
